Dear Parent/Carer,

The PTA are running an online auction launching on the 12th March, to raise funds to purchase first aid equipment to support the teaching of first aid to all pupils, and the general public through our extended schools program.

We are looking for lots to attract bids. Are you in any way able to contribute - Silly or serious.

For example:-

Would you be prepared to donate a few hours gardening, baking or catering?

Do you have a talent that you could offer to teach?

Do you have a skill or trade that you could use that someone else would pay to benefit from?

Do you have a contact with a business that may be happy to donate something?

Do you have a face book or twitter account, email contacts for people or mobile numbers? Would you be happy to inform all your contacts of the auction and encourage them to visit the site www.rossettpta.co.uk after the 12th, there maybe something they would like to bid on!

Please offer your support and get in touch, think creatively about what you could offer to help make this a fun, memorable and profitable fundraising event.

Last year the auction raised £1300, this year we are hoping to raise £1500.

Some offers have already come in from teachers who are prepared to give up their own time and effort to support the cause. It would be nice if as parents we could pull together with them to support our children’s school and education.
